About Jennifer
I have been writing since high school over twenty years ago. I have a passion for writing and enjoy inspiring others to write. I am very personable and fluid in my teaching style.
My writing experience spans over a decade, including academic, personal, and professional writing. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. In addition to developing my writing skills, honing my writing style, and enhancing my literary voice during my master's degree program, I also learned how to teach what I learned through a seminar in writing instruction course that I completed for my master's degree.

I will personalize your learning experience at a pace that works best for you and helps you grow as a writer, whether you write short or novel-length stories.
I believe in helping writers find their literary voice and the writing style that is most comfortable for them. This is done through tailored lessons to the individual's needs and on-hand writing practice.
My lessons are for everyone young and old interested in creative writing.
An example of a typical lesson plan would include, but not limited to, lessons on identifying the target audience, using points of view, creating relatable characters, creating compelling character arcs, world-building, plot, outlines, overcoming writer's block, and ending endless editing loops. It is important to note that other lessons will be tailored to the individual needs of the student.
