Having taught in KS1 for four years, I have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and the ways in which children learn best. I am able to plan and deliver interactive and engaging sessions tailored to each child's individual needs with the KS1 expectations in mind. Having taught Year 1, I am also aware of the expectations of the Phonics Screening Check.
I am able to deliver lessons (virtually or in person) in Phonics, English and Maths in KS1 and the Early Years. I strive to ensure that each child I work with has every opportunity to realise their full potential, by using a range of tailored learning techniques to make learning interesting and engaging for them.
