About Mira
I have 12 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Music Performance. My advanced education strengthened my understanding of performance techniques, interpretation, and music theory. Teaching over many years has helped me develop a patient and adaptable approach to different learning styles.
I have guided beginners learning their first chords as well as experienced players expanding their repertoire. I strongly believe that consistent practice and clear instruction are essential for steady improvement. My teaching style combines discipline with encouragement so students feel supported while progressing towards higher levels.
Music allows students to express creativity and build confidence. Seeing learners perform with control and assurance after dedicated preparation is highly rewarding. I remain committed to guiding each student with structure, clarity, and ongoing support.

My guitar lessons focus on building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity and musical understanding. I begin by teaching proper hand positioning, finger placement, and posture to ensure comfort and control. Early exercises include basic chord shapes, smooth chord transitions, and simple rhythm patterns. I explain music theory concepts such as chord construction and scale relationships in clear and simple language so students understand what they are playing.
As learners improve, we introduce barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, and advanced strumming techniques. Scale practice is included to strengthen improvisation ability and fretboard awareness. Songs are selected carefully to match the student’s level while maintaining motivation. I emphasise rhythm accuracy and timing control through structured exercises that build coordination and consistency.
Performance preparation includes practising complete songs with attention to tone clarity and stage presence. Students learn how to maintain steady tempo and confident posture during performances. Over time, learners develop stronger finger independence, improved tonal control, and greater creative expression. My goal is to guide each student towards confident and balanced guitar performance.
