About Shereen
I am an accomplished, knowledgeable and versatile Early Years and Foundation Phase Educator, offering extensive national and international experience. I have a great passion for the profession and to teach young children and look after their well-being. My credentials include an MA degree in Education, as well as a BA degree in Eurythmy (Movement Therapy via Speech and Poetry). I have a proven record of helping learners progress, providing positive learning experiences and building and maintaining effective behavior management systems. I am also widely experienced with pupils who have special needs. My diverse set of skills covers excellent classroom management, lesson planning, presentation, motivation and communication. I am comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments as part of a team or on an individual basis. I possess the ability to take initiative and manage time effectively. I consider myself a dedicated, enthusiastic and goal-oriented individual, who always strives to deliver more than expected. I am known for building strong working relationships and committed to being a confident and respected member in my environment.

I believe that learning must be joyous and when incorporating laughter and movement you are surely having a great lesson. A relaxed environment that will be created, encourages you, the learner, to be focused and willing to receive the information being taught. I am fluent in English and understand Afrikaans when it's spoken. I am working on my replies. :) If you are a grade 1 - 3 student let's move, sing and learn to achieve the grades you desire.
