About Mark
I’m a Creative Director and furniture designer with over 25 years’ experience leading interior and joinery projects from concept through to completion. My background blends creativity, technical design and leadership — having co-founded and managed a successful design and build company. I teach because I’m passionate about helping others grow their confidence and skills in the design process, from spatial planning to 3D visualisation. With a BA in CAD Design & Furniture Making, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience, mentoring learners who want to design with purpose, clarity and creativity.

I combine real-world industry knowledge with practical exercises to help you confidently design, model and visualise interiors or furniture projects in SketchUp. Each session typically lasts one hour and focuses on clear, achievable outcomes — whether that’s creating detailed 3D visuals, planning efficient workflows, or developing presentation skills for clients or coursework. Lessons are suitable for students, professionals and hobbyists who want to build strong design foundations or enhance existing digital design capabilities.
