About Anne
I am an experienced violin tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach students with different goals, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills. I believe that music should be enjoyable, inspiring, and accessible to everyone.
My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, encouragement, and personalised learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I design lessons that suit individual needs and learning styles. I focus on building a strong foundation while making lessons engaging and motivating.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully guided many students towards achieving their musical goals. One of my proudest achievements is helping students gain confidence and develop a genuine passion for music. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves.
My goal is to help students become confident violin players and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching style combines compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe students perform best when they feel respected, encouraged, and comfortable expressing themselves. Therefore, I focus on creating a positive learning environment for every student.
In violin instruction, I emphasise proper posture, intonation, rhythm, bow control, and musical expression. I use simple explanations and practical demonstrations to help students understand concepts clearly. Lessons are adjusted according to each student's level and personal goals.
I believe that regular encouragement and constructive feedback help students remain motivated. I support students throughout their journey and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
Along with violin, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and related music subjects that enhance overall musicianship.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning and develop confidence that extends beyond music.
