About Tamara
I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience working with children in both schools and private childcare. I have a Bachelor of Education and a strong background in supporting primary school learning. I enjoy helping children develop confidence in maths and English, and I find it rewarding to see them succeed. My approach is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each child’s needs. Teaching has always been my passion, and I aim to inspire a love of learning while making homework feel less stressful and more enjoyable.

I provide friendly and supportive homework help for primary school children, with a focus on English and maths. Lessons are adapted to each child’s learning style, and I love making learning fun and engaging. In maths, I support topics from the UK curriculum such as number bonds, multiplication tables, fractions, problem-solving and reasoning. In English, I can help with reading fluency, spelling, grammar, creative writing, and comprehension skills. With over 10 years’ teaching and childcare experience, I aim to build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude to learning. As I get to know each child, I can also create personalised web-based learning resources to support their progress.
