About CADENCE

Hello! I'm Cadence, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you.

I am currently a first year undergraduate student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), majoring in Psychology. My passion for personality and human behaviour has led me to pursue this field of study, and I am excited to delve deeper into its intricacies.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a fluent speaker, writer, and reader of Mandarin Chinese. Originally from Malaysia, I have had the privilege of being multilingual as I am able to speak fluently in 4 different languages - English, Chinese, Malay, and Cantonese. My goal is to empower learners of all ages to achieve proficiency in Mandarin while being able to have fun while learning in a safe and comfortable space.

Outside of academics, I enjoy dancing, as I have been dancing for almost 12 years of my life and I used to dance professionally in ballroom dancing for 9 years. I believe in the importance of maintaining a balance between work and leisure to foster personal growth and well-being.

I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with you and to learn from each of you in return. Let's embark on this journey of growth and discovery together!
