About Dreama
Hi I'm Dreama Pinnock and I am a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with AAPC. Ive graduated with my Masters degree in Healthcare Administration with a specialization in education from the University of Phoenix.
I have over 20 years working in the healthcare industry. From entry level to management roles allowing me to lead teams across hospital systems. In these roles I have had the opportunity to mentor and tutor employees in billing and coding in pathology/laboratory services.
My journey in this field has been both rewarding and challenging, providing me with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of medical coding.
I am dedicated to helping students master the skills needed to excel in this profession. My approach to tutoring is rooted in a commitment to clarity, patience, and practical application. I believe that a strong foundation in coding principles, coupled with real-world practice, is essential for success. Therefore, I strive to create a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging, encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and apply their knowledge in practical scenarios.
My goal is to not only prepare students for certification exams but also to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their careers.
I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest coding guidelines and best practices. This dedication ensures that my students receive the most current and relevant information, helping them stay ahead in an ever-changing field.
In summary, my role as a CPC tutor is more than just a job; it is a calling.
I am dedicated to fostering the next generation of medical coders, helping them achieve their goals, and contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
