About Adrienne
I studied geology as an undergraduate student and then went on to specialize in igneous petrology at Cornell University where I got my Master of Science degree. I then received a Master of Arts in Teaching from SUNY New Paltz where I specialized in adolescent education. I have experience as Math and Science Department Head which has given me a unique perspective on the interconnectivity of STEAM subjects. My positive attitude will make sessions fun and meaningful. I am an enthusiastic educator with two Master's degrees and a decade of teaching experience in math and science who teaches with a student-centered pedagogy. I have seen that students work best when they have positive associations with material, so my methodology utilizes fun and interactive virtual learning tools such as games and activities to encourage participation. Learning math and science should be fun which is why I bring a sense of wonder to all of my lessons.
