I have my PhD in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. I have taught general education courses for nearly 30 years. I have a wide range of interests, from Second Temple Judaism, the social sciences, writing, to evolutionary biology.

I engage students directly in their assigned tasks to increase their long-term cognitive development. I teach with the Socratic method. Listening, assessing, giving positive feedback, engaging the student in the excitement and passion of learning, and focused interventions are fundamental for me.
