I've spoken English my entire life and have a strong grasp on the language. I grew up in Singapore and moved to Canada when I was 15. I hold a BA (Economics) from Simon Fraser University and currently live in Vancouver, BC.

A Typical Lesson Plan: Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): We start with casual conversation to get you comfortable speaking English. This helps ease into the lesson and build rapport. Focus Topic (15-20 minutes): We dive into a specific topic or theme of your choice (e.g., travel, current events, daily life), and I guide you through vocabulary, expressions, and sentence structure. Practice (15-20 minutes): You’ll engage in structured conversations or role-playing exercises that help reinforce what we’ve covered. I offer instant feedback to help you improve your grammar, pronunciation, and fluency. Wrap-Up (5-10 minutes): I summarize key points, answer any questions and provide suggestions for independent practice until our next lesson. I’m not just a tutor; I’m a mentor who listens and adapts to your unique learning style. I focus on building a genuine connection with my students, making them feel comfortable and heard.
