I didn't learn English from her, but I hired Venessa to edit my book about five years ago and I've worked with her on three other books since. She's always taken the time to explain why she felt something needed to be changed and never made me feel silly for asking questions or for more information. I hope she's available when I'm finished with my current book, because I want to work with her again!

I have known Venessa for about 3 years now. I met her through our shared love of writing. She is an outstanding, compassionate, and patient teacher and facilitator. She has a way of explaining things very simply without making it feel like she is talking down to you. Her lectures and courses have always been very enjoyable, maintaining the balance between fun and highly informative with a skill that I have seen few master. She is thorough and patient while answering questions, even if they are repeat questions and always makes understanding for all students her primary goal.
