About Srinivasan
I've had experience with many aspects of math in my middle school and high school career. In particular, I've been heavily invested in competition math and performed well at the national level, namely, 33rd place at 2016 MathCounts Nationals, tied for 33rd on the 2018 USAJMO, scored well on the 2017 USAJMO, and qualified for the 2019 USAMO. I've also had some experience with research math through the MIT PRIMES math research track in 2018 and 2019. I also went to some good math camps such as USA/CANADA Mathcamp and PROMYS. I've had experience working with students through the Diamond Middle School MathCounts team. I wrote and co-wrote a lot of MathCounts tests for the Diamond MathCounts team (a local middle school) and challenged my students with problems beyond their comfort level. I also worked with the students and taught them contest math techniques during review sessions for these tests. These efforts helped the team get 2nd place in Massachussetts in 2017, 3rd in 2018, and 4rth in 2019. I wish to share my enthusiasm for mathematics with other students who are interested in the subject.
