About Sonali
Hi, I'm Sonali! I'm from Kolkata, India, and I hold a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, along with a Diploma in Media Science. Writing and clear communication have been at the heart of everything I've done — from professional content writing to running my own small content-based business, where I create written material daily for real audiences and clients.
I'm passionate about helping others express themselves confidently in English, whether that's through polished essays, professional emails, or simply speaking without hesitation. A typical class starts with a quick check-in on what you're working on, followed by focused practice — this could be structuring an essay, refining grammar and vocabulary, or working through real writing samples together. I always explain the "why" behind corrections, not just the "what," so you actually retain the learning rather than just fixing one sentence at a time.
What sets me apart is my background in Journalism and content writing — I bring real-world, practical writing experience rather than just textbook rules, so lessons stay relevant to how English is actually used today, in professional and academic settings alike.
My classes are suited for working professionals, university students (including those working on essays or dissertations), and school-level learners wanting a strong foundation in English writing and grammar.
