About Caleb
With 7 years of experience in singing instruction, I specialise in teaching school and college students with an emphasis on personal growth and musical expression. My teaching style is nurturing, patient, and adaptable, catering to each student’s unique learning pace and vocal strengths.
I focus on developing proper breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, and vocal range while encouraging students to connect emotionally with their songs. I employ innovative methods such as visualisation exercises, vocal improvisation, and interactive practice to make lessons engaging and memorable.

My teaching approach to Singing combines technical training, creative exploration, and cultural respect to create a balanced and effective learning experience. I believe that strong communication between teacher and student leads to better results. I clearly explain vocal techniques such as breathing, pitch control, and resonance, and I listen carefully to each student’s needs, goals, and challenges.
Creativity is encouraged throughout my lessons. I design exercises that inspire self-expression and help students connect emotionally with the music they sing. Learners are encouraged to interpret songs in their own way, experiment with styles, and develop confidence in their voice.
This approach helps students enjoy the learning process while improving their skills. Cultural sensitivity is a core value in my teaching. Singing reflects personal and cultural identity, and I respect each student’s background.
I include songs from different languages and traditions when appropriate, helping students understand musical diversity and develop flexibility as singers. This inclusive approach builds confidence and mutual respect in the learning environment.
Accountability is developed by setting clear expectations and structured practice plans. I guide students to take responsibility for their progress through regular practice, reflection, and goal setting. Progress is monitored consistently to ensure steady improvement.
In addition to Singing, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, vocal care, and performance techniques to provide a complete and practical learning experience.
