About Frances
I am currently an Arts and Sciences student at UCL. Arts & Sciences (BASc) is an interdisciplinary course and my main areas of study is biology. I also study the social sciences such as economics, geography and sociology. I am an enthusiastic person with an equal passion for both the arts and sciences, and have always loved learning and studying.
I studied my A Levels in a local sixth form college and achieved A*A*A. In Biology I got an A*, earning full UMS marks in my two final year examinations in Year 13. I also got full UMS marks for both of my Government & Politics final examinations in Year 13.
I have Asperger's Syndrome and have dyslexia and dyspraxia, so I have first-hand experience of finding subjects difficult, failure and anxiety over exams. Overall, I have come out of this more experienced and would like to help others to also improve.
I am new to tutoring but for the past four years I have been creating advice and providing guidance to other students online through blogging. I also have experience mentoring younger students and in running lectures and seminars for my peers.
I would be happy to help with Biology or Chemistry up to A Level. Because of the nature of my studies, I could also help with essay writing, Mathematics or social sciences such as Geography or Politics.
