About Martin
My father being a musician (violinist), I have been immersed in music since I was little.
I started music at the age of 5, taking saxophone then oboe lessons.
When I was a teenager, I left the conservatory which I found too scholarly and I started playing the electric guitar, as an autodidact. and with friends.
In high school, I start playing the piano, first alone then with a teacher.
In final year, I resume oboe and music theory for 1 year at the CRR of Cergy-Pontoise.
After my baccalaureate , I integrate a scientific preparation while continuing the music on my side.
2 years later, I land at the ENS Paris-Saclay and I start the trumpet in the school band. Learning is therefore done on an autodidact basis, with a group. In addition, I play in different groups, on different instruments and in different styles (classical, jazz, pop-rock ...).
Last year, I passed the agrégation in civil engineering while doing music. music for groups (including bossa-nova)
This year, I am taking an M2 in acoustics to become a teacher-researcher in musical acoustics (related to musical instruments).

I want to teach beginner or intermediate musicians.
My goal is to make music enjoyable for my students, by making them work on styles and techniques that interest them, and by making sure that they progress as much as possible.
This can involve theory or practice, exercises or pieces, playing alone or with others ...
I have already had a few students in maths, physics and music . In addition, I hold an aggregation, which made me work on my pedagogy.
My multi-instrumentalist and multi-style course may also be of interest to people wishing a less conventional education than at a conservatory and wider in terms of musical styles.
