I am a Malaysian living in Kuala Lumpur holding a diploma from Singapore Polytechnic formerly a contract officer ( now retired) working for construction companies and was responsible for tender estimates and contract administration. After retiring, I became a freelance translator until present. I love karaoke, popular music, swimming and snooker.

Communication is key to bonding and relating with students, that calls for good command of languages, skillful articulation and an understanding of youth's mindset. Effective English learning is founded on practice, in reading, writing, listening and, most importantly, speaking, a prized soft skill many employers lament is in short supply. Mathematics learning efficiency for an average student is proportionate to the hours he puts in, first in internalizing the mathematical concepts and theorems logically, and doing exercises sufficiently. Intelligent students with an aptitude for numbers of course learn much faster . Of course, a student's attitude-on life and on learning-is something a responsible tutor should help mould, so that not only can he learn better but also hopefully become a better person.
