About Matthew
I am a student at York University and I am majoring in Criminology. I am seeking to double major in English. As well, I am a teacher candidate in the faculty of education, in the Concurrent Education program, specializing in Junior-Intermediate education. I have many experiences in teaching and tutoring environments such as peer tutoring, supply teaching, and I work as a swim instructor.

My teaching methods differ from student to student. It honestly depends how different students learn, and taking that into account, it impacts the ways in which I formulate lessons and activities. Some students find that it is easier to learn with visual aids so in that case I would use visual tools to help them exceed. Rather, other students need to be hands on with what they are learning, thus I would provide the proper materials for them to use, in order to be successful. I base my classes on diversity. All students learn in different ways, and it is my job to identify their diverse learning needs, to help them be successful in what they are trying to achieve.
