About Zaria
My name is Zaria! It's so lovely to meet you. I have been a Computer Science student for the past two years and plan to bring more women into STEM fields.
Not only that, I have a deep love for writing, specifically creative writing. I have been in AP English since my first year of high school and in my university's top honors English courses for the past two years since enrollment! I enjoy bringing my bubbly personality into the study space and implementing creativity in everything I do. With that said, it's how I connect with my students best! From being a tutor for the two years I've been in school, I have identified different learning styles while ensuring my students know they're in the safest place to learn.

As a computer science student who is passionate about and loves English, I adopt a unique teaching approach that combines structure with creativity. My teaching methods focus on building the foundational reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills necessary for success in both Elementary and lower secondary school levels.
For each lesson, we start with a quick warm-up activity. Sometimes, it's a short reading grammar exercise. Before delving into the main content, whether reading articles, writing, or grammar lessons. I like to end lessons with a brief review. Reinforce what we have learned and practice those skills outside of our sessions… I can give you some advice on how to do it!
I stand out as a teacher because I strive to inspire confidence and a genuine love for language in my students. While ensuring they build the skills needed for academic success. My lessons suit primary and middle school students who want to improve their English language skills by starting to understand the basics or preparing for more advanced writing and reading.
