I approach math courses with a very technical and broken-down view, highlighting the importance of every little detail and skill. I do this because math requires a very broad range of knowledge and has many points of grading. If a student is struggling, I demonstrate the simplicity of math and how its factors all relate while building off of weaker points in order to show that it isn't all that scary.
