I understand how difficult and intimidating computer science and computer programming is. I also understand that everyone thinks differently, and will need different explanations for the same concept.
I am a very empathetic person, so my teaching style is very personalized to your existing knowledge and understanding.
With my years of tutoring experience, I've built an understanding of how students think, and what concepts students typically struggle with, as well as how to help them understand those difficult concepts.

- I use a variety of notes, diagrams, and practice problems to solidify knowledge.
- I have the most experience teaching high schoolers to early college students, with topics from programming fundamentals, low level programming with C, object oriented programming with Java, data structures, and algorithms.
- I have improved students test scores on average 7%.
- My end goal is for my students to become independent learners who will no longer need a tutor to help them understand computer science topics.
