About Shakib
I am a first-year computer science student at Queens University. I have been helping peers, friends, and my sister with math, physics, and computer science courses for the last 3 years. I also have tutored a few middle school kids when I was in grade 9/grade 10. I am able to simplify and explain concepts very well. I prefer to use different objects and videos to form a better intuitive sense of the concept.

I love to teach using examples that are relevant to the student. I like to prepare ahead if there is a specific concept that I have to cover. Otherwise, I am very flexible and open to start an in-depth discussion from a question from the student. While helping with specific homework questions, I like to not tell the student exactly what to do, or if they are making a mistake. I like to guide the students to come up with their own response. And if they are making a mistake, I like to see them figure out that something is wrong, and then I would explain what happened and how they can avoid that type of mistake.
