About Arvin

I got my Bachelor's of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, where I specialized in learning machine learning and AI concepts while strengthening my software skills. During my time at Waterloo, I did 3 internships and completed 2 research assistantships, which were focused on computer vision, iOS development, and computer networks. At this moment, I am a software engineer at Bio-techne, where I mostly build internal tools for my team. I am also working on building a startup called Flameru. During my high school and university days, I taught private lessons for groups of 1 to 5 students. Many times, I helped students go from having no clue about a subject to getting 95+ on university entry exams.

About the lesson

I take a problem-solving approach to my lessons. The best way to understand a concept is to tackle it head-on. After I teach any concept, I solve sample problems to illustrate the concept, and then I ask each student to solve a couple of questions for me as well.

I primarily teach middle school and high school students ways to prepare for university and ace their exams. I specialize in teaching calculus, algebra and programming concepts.
