About Manasa
I am in my early 20s (female), I have graduated in computer science and business at AUT. I currently work full time as an IT professional. I enjoy reading and writing and thought i could put my interest to some use. I used peer mentor students at university, so I always loved teaching. I hope to inspire someone :)

About the lesson

I take 1-2 hour sessions. For students in school to university.
Year 2 onwards.
My approach to learning is to 1)understand the student's learning capabilities, e.g. strengths and weaknesses. 2) Discuss with students on their goals. 3) Understand the student on how they best learn e.g. visual, written etc.
My approach to teaching is to break things down first, make them understand the reason, practice and then test. I like to take things slow and steady.
I have previously been an academic peer mentor at AUT where i used to teach computer systems, business and coding. I also used proofread students' essays, to help them write more in-depth or help them cut down on words. I have learned to provide constructive feedback.
