About Martina
I am a university student of Computer Science and Mathematics. I have always been interested in Maths, but had issues grasping it at school. I would like to help students avoid my struggles, so they can reach their full potential. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Maths, as it always presents me a new way of looking at the concepts and it is fascinating of seeing all the ways it applies to the world, nature and our lives!

My teaching is tailored to every student's individual needs. The student would complete a basic knowledge test to see the main areas of focus. I like to generally focus on explaining theory through examples and letting students grasp the topic with easier exercises first, building up to more difficult ones. I focus on teaching students to understand what the wording of the exercises mean and what are important parts to focus on.
Typically one lesson would be 50 minutes, but also double lessons of 1 hr 40 minutes are available.
I am completing my degree in Mathematics and have been tutoring A-level for one year.
My lessons are mainly for A-level and GCSE students, but I am available to teach younger students as well.
