About Sarah

My interest in computer programming began when I first discovered how computers follow instructions written in programming languages. I was fascinated by how software could be designed to perform complex calculations, process information, and automate tasks that would otherwise require a large amount of manual effort. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.

During the past 10 years, I have taught programming to students who were learning coding for academic studies as well as those who wanted to develop technical skills for professional careers. Through my teaching experience, I realized that many beginners feel uncertain when they first encounter programming syntax and technical terminology. Because of this, I focus on explaining concepts clearly and guiding students step by step through the coding process.

My teaching style encourages practice, experimentation, and problem solving. I believe that writing code regularly and exploring different programming solutions helps students develop confidence and independence as programmers. Supporting students as they build strong programming skills is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching work.

About the lesson

My computer programming lessons are designed to help students understand how software is created using logical instructions and structured thinking. Programming is not only about writing code but also about learning how to break down problems into smaller steps that computers can follow. In my lessons, I guide students through programming concepts carefully so they can build a strong understanding of both coding syntax and programming logic.

Lessons usually begin with the fundamental concepts that every beginner needs to learn. Students first study variables, data types, and simple input and output operations so they can understand how programs store and process information. Once these ideas are clear, learners move on to control structures such as conditional statements and loops, which allow programs to make decisions and repeat tasks efficiently.

As students progress, lessons also include topics such as functions, structured programming techniques, and simple algorithm design. Learners practice writing small programs that solve practical problems, which helps them understand how programming concepts are used in real applications. My goal is to help students develop strong logical thinking skills so they can confidently create and improve computer programs.
