About Leah
My interest in programming developed when I first discovered how computers can follow instructions written in programming languages. I was fascinated by how programmers can create software that performs calculations, manages data, and helps people complete tasks more efficiently. This interest encouraged me to study computer science and complete a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
During the past 9 years, I have taught programming to students who were learning coding for academic studies and professional development. Through teaching experience, I noticed that many beginners initially feel confused when they encounter programming syntax and technical terms. Because of this, I focus on explaining programming concepts in a simple and organized way.
My teaching style emphasizes practice, experimentation, and problem solving. I encourage students to write code regularly and explore different ways to solve programming challenges. Helping learners develop confidence and logical thinking skills is an important part of my teaching philosophy.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand how computer software is created using structured instructions and logical thinking. Programming is not only about learning a language but also about understanding how problems can be broken down into smaller steps that computers can follow. In my lessons, I guide students through the process of developing both programming knowledge and logical reasoning skills.
Lessons begin with basic programming concepts that help beginners understand how code works. Students first learn about variables, data types, and simple operations that allow programs to store and process information. Once these ideas are clear, learners begin exploring control structures such as loops and conditional statements that allow programs to make decisions and repeat actions.
As students gain more experience, they begin learning about functions, structured programming, and simple algorithm design. They also practice writing small programs that solve practical problems. My goal is to help learners understand programming logic so they can confidently develop programs and continue learning more advanced coding techniques in the future.
