My lessons try to mimic a peer-to-peer study session, in which I team up with the student to go through their class material and help them understand complicated concepts. In a typical lesson, the student brings books, notes, and questions about the class material. We review the class material together. Then I clarify any questions and make sure that the student understands all topics. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to identify when a student is still confused with the topic and my ability to cover all variations of the topic to ensure the student's full understanding of the concept. The lowest level of students I'm willing to teach are senior high school students. Exceptions for younger students can be made depending on the student's behavior and interest in learning.
