About Mohammed Abdul
am currently studying Islamic Fiqh and am also engaged in the study of Balaghah. For the past few years, I have been gaining knowledge in Arabic language, Nahw, Sarf, Fiqh, and other Islamic subjects. In this course, we will start by learning some basic Arabic words such as pen, book, fish, meat, cap, bed, and so on—about 10 to 15 words at a time. Then, we will learn two common uses of each word. For example, after learning قِلْنسوة (cap), we will practise saying هَذِهِ قِلْنسوة (this is a cap) and تِلْكَ قِلْنسوة (that is a cap). Step by step, we will continue learning new words and their practical usage.
Afterwards, we will begin learning Masdar (verbal nouns), such as الفعل (to do) and النصر (to help). From Masdar, we will derive the Fa‘il / F‘ayl (verbs in different forms), such as فَعَلَ (he did), يَفْعَلُ (he will do), اِفْعَلْ (you do), and لا تَفْعَلْ (don’t do). We will then practise using these verbs in sentences.
Following this gradual approach, students will eventually be able to understand the meaning of the Quranic text, Inshallah.
