Even if a student may not want to pursue a Maths orientated career, the foundation numerical and problem-solving skills are essential for any job. Furthermore I believe it may even help me in my studies as it can help refresh my brain; getting back to the root of mental ability.

I can approach tutoring from a different perspective than teachers due to recent experiences at school. I can offer 45 minutes lessons which can focus on more of a problem solving side rather simply remembering what to do, which better prepares for spontaneous questions. I have volunteered to help Year 9 Maths students who were struggling with Maths after the Covid Lockdown. I would like to hold lessons for GCSEMaths students from Year 9-11.
