About Gracie
I am a University Student studying to become a primary school teacher. I have a passion for teaching, and I love having an influence on shaping young minds. When playing the piano, I love to combine the rules and techniques of classical music, while adding a contemporary twist. I have a love for both genres and I enjoy including that in my piano practice. Teaching and playing the piano have profoundly shaped me, blending discipline with creativity. As a classically trained pianist, I’ve developed patience, precision and deep emotional expression; skills that naturally translate into teaching. Guiding others in music allows me to share the beauty of learning, fostering growth, confidence and artistry in students. The balance of technical mastery and musical interpretation has enriched my perspective, influencing not just my approach to education but my personal connection to creativity and perseverance.

I believe that anyone can be musical no matter their musical background. Whether you've played piano for 5 years, or have never touched one, I am a firm believer that you can do anything you set your mind to. I love to make lessons fun, by playing musical warm-ups, or songs of your choosing. It can be a pop song, Disney, classical, whatever you name. Lessons can range from 25 minutes to an hour, and it can be split between just piano, theory or both.
