My method of teaching is very simple. I start with clarification not like in some confusion or suspense. For example- lets say i have started a business with cash 10000 then the capital is 10000 and i buy some raw materials of 2000 then my capital is still 10000. Why so? Then I will answer this by telling that capital is the total money or worth or assets owned by the business. Now in the question above 10000 cash is owned by business so capital is 10000 and after buying raw material 2000 rupees are spent so the cash remains 8000 but the raw material worth 2000 is also owned by business hence the capital is 10000 which is 8000 cash + 2000 worthraw material. And price is always negotiable according to the financial situation of the candidate.
