I have 7 years teaching experience and tutoring. I became a teacher because it was right thing for me to do as teaching and educating is one of my hobbies. Being a teacher allows me to be student for life. I want to be part of the solution to our society’s ills, and teaching allows me to do that.
I believe teaching is a noble profession and it should be carried out with a lot of sincerity hence some of my teaching styles which benefits my students include:
- Having a student centered class which allows students to communicate with the teacher and their peers.
- Having measurable objectives for each class
- Being well prepared including making a lesson plan for each class a week ahead
- Incorporating visual aids and multimedia for certain classes
- Being up to date with the current affairs myself so that I could teach my students
