About Evangeline
I am a first year student at Te Herenga Waka, studying Laws and English Literature. I excelled at Math in high school, and have three years experience as a Math tutor. I have a love for teaching, as I enjoy its interpersonal, intellectual nature, and it is fulfilling work where I can help others achieve their goals.

I like to get to know my students and where they are struggling, as well as the curriculum they are learning. If possible, it helps me to see feedback from teachers to see how they are doing in class, and if they are younger, to discuss with their parents how they are engaging with maths at home. For anxious and neurodivergent students, I build a personal but professional relationship to create trust so they can learn in a way that suits them. I typically teach for 30-45 minutes for younger students, and 45-90 minutes with older students.
