About Rachel
I have 2 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences. Since beginning my teaching journey, I have enjoyed helping students strengthen their mathematical abilities through supportive guidance, engaging instruction, and individualized lesson planning. I believe every learner can succeed when provided with patience, encouragement, and opportunities to build confidence step by step.
One student initially struggled with interpreting scatter plots because recognizing correlation patterns and drawing meaningful conclusions from data required stronger analytical observation. Through interactive graphing activities, real-world datasets, and guided classroom discussions, the student steadily improved data interpretation skills and achieved excellent progress in mathematics assessments.
I believe mathematics develops logical reasoning, creativity, resilience, precision, and independent thinking that benefit students throughout education and future careers. Students are encouraged to explain mathematical reasoning clearly, evaluate multiple solution strategies, and develop flexible analytical skills through continuous practice.
