About Lüke

Education professional with a background in Primary School teaching- eight years worth of experience working in Devon and Greater Manchester working across KS2 primarily- working as a classroom teacher, French specialist teacher, PPA teacher and Art specialist teacher. Moreover, I also supported groups of children with their 11+ examinations for entry to grammar school.

I am a Fine Art, French and English Language specialist having both tutored these subjects to both children and adults.

I have knowledge of the 11+ exams and have current active experience of tutoring English and Maths.
I believe in a question led approach to tutoring where the student takes on an active role in their learning. Being a visual and kin-aesthetic ( learn by doing) learner myself, I believe that promoting subjects using a variety of methods is immersive and engaging.

I am a firm believer that it doesn't matter how quickly or slowly a person makes progress as long as they are not encouraged to stop!

I like to personalize the learning experience for all.

About the lesson

I’m a question based teacher who aims to equip learners with the tools to have ownership over their own learning and to make links between different subjects. I believe that meaningful discussion, coupled with promoting multiple learning styles is key.
