About Light
I am a 21-year-old female who is trying to acquire as much teaching experience as possible so that I can pour into learners once I become an educator. I am very passionate about teaching because it fulfills me. I believe that teachers play a role in shaping our future; thus, I want to share my knowledge and compassion, hoping that I am shaping a future president or pilot. I not only want to teach, but I also want to make an impact in the lives of my students. My focus is English because I wish to help build their confidence in English as a subject.

At the University of Johannesburg, we student educators are taught how to design fun and engaging lessons from first year. We are taught how to design lessons that will be memorable to the learners because cognition and emotions are intertwined.
