About Shivduti
Shivadooti Mandal here. B.A Hons. Graduate in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University. I plan to teach literary conventions through simple language but the language will be of anti-establishment, i.e, challenging the normativity of the societal indoctrinations. It's just the big words getting used here so that I get hired quickly, but don't worry we'll have fun! I won't write 5 pahe notes for you all, or make you copy them from somewhere or tell you to pen down my dictations but it will be you, who will be confidently writing their own comprehension over the discourse, will be proud of your own enrichment through rigorous and extensive research of academic papers and journals thereby subversing the traditional way of learning literary aesthetics.

Literature isn’t about the regurgitation of ideas pleasing the establishment. Mugging up notes will lead nowhere in this discourse. One feels the literary growth and linguistic evolution inside themselves after a point of rigorous reading and research and that's what I aim to instigate within the students.
