About Thea
I am a stay-at-home mom of a daughter under one year. I am constantly finding myself wanting to do more throughout my day and there is no better way than helping students who need a little help along the way. Writing has always been a passion of mine that has turned into a pastime. Writing is very important to me because it provides a platform for you to express your unique voice. Whether it is a research topic or prompt, your voice can always be heard by the way you write.

I start off with going through the essentials needed to start your writing. Learning reputable sites and sources of information is very important to learn for any evidence-based writing. Teaching the writing process comes next. For example, researching topic ideas, outline, draft, and revision. Specifically in argumentative writing, researching counterarguments is also important. In addition to argumentative writing, research papers and literary analysis require citations and formatting those citations properly, most commonly used with MLA and APA formatting rules. Providing resources to depend on for independent work is also something I will provide. I will help proofread and actively revise writing with students.
For education levels below 7th grade, I can provide grammar and spelling help and go deeper into understanding the writing process and outline techniques, gradually stepping into more complex writing styles.
Homework help is always an option too in order to help support parents care for their child's education! Great with high school level or below reading and writing along with mathematics.
