About Marieke
My name is Marieke Riedemann (1981). Dutch by birth and living in Cape Town with my family since 2023. I studied Communications (BA) and worked in that field for more than 10 years. After that, I started my own business as a certified communication skills trainer and training actor. I followed work-related courses in Body Language, Training, Training acting, 7 Life languages and DISC. And I am familiar with team models such as Belbin, Leary, Kolb and DISC.
I worked with small businesses and corporates, with health care professionals, groups of pastors and individuals. I love to make my own communication skills courses and love to anticipate what people want or need to learn. Social and sociable, straight-to-the-point, and goal-oriented. A people person with a passion for effective communication. I find a true connection between people most important. I believe in experience-based learning within a positive and engaging setting that allows for humor and levity.
I specialize in non-verbal communication, resistance and feedback, communication skills, conversation techniques,
cultural and behavioral change within organizations, role play in elderly care/general health care, role play of people with a personality disorder (bipolar, borderline, narcissistic, histrionic, disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders), role play focusing on signaling non-verbal communication.
I am social and sociable, straight-to-the-point, and goal-oriented. A people person with a passion for effective communication. I find a true connection between people most important.

Riedemann Training will provide custom-made courses and/or workshops set to your organizational goals or personal wishes.
The courses/workshops focus on presentation skills, conversation skills, feedback training, non-verbal communication and behavioral change.
I believe in experience-based learning within a positive and engaging setting that allows for humor and levity. A lesson will be custom-made and will contain a short intake, theory, conversation, assignments and follow-up.
I teach in English, Afrikaans and Dutch. If you are looking to improve your communication skills in work and/or everyday life then we can connect.
