About Karl
I’m passionate about making learning feel manageable and engaging no matter your level. Although I now study Law, Biology has always been an area that I always aim to continue being engaged in. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, tackling tricky topics, and build the skills needed to excel in their exams.

My lessons are designed for GCSE Biology students of all abilities. I take a clear and structured approach by focusing on each student's overall aim. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses and, after talking to them about their desired learning style, tailor lessons to support their individual needs. By breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable chunks, using real examples, diagrams, and exam-style questions to solidify understanding, I aim to deliver efficient and fun learning. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and for students who desire lighter paced learning I also offer 45 minute lessons. I am currently a Law undergraduate at the University of Glasgow, but have a strong academic background in Biology, achieving Grade 9 at GCSE and an A at A-Level Biology. Overall, I aim to make Biology a fun and engaging subject for all those who wish to grasp certain topics, improve their grades and are aiming for the top level of achievement.
