About Kavya
My goal as a teacher is to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every student can grow at their own pace. I wish to share the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years so that my students not only learn Bharatanatyam with authenticity and excellence but also discover the confidence, joy, and personal growth that this beautiful art form can bring to their lives.

I am a passionate and dedicated student and practitioner of Bharatanatyam. Through years of learning and practice, I have realized that Bharatanatyam plays a deeply meaningful role in my life. Beyond being an art form, I believe it shapes one’s character and nurtures values such as discipline,
empathy, inner joy, and emotional strength. Dance has enriched my life in countless ways, and in this vast and beautiful field of art, I aspire to share the knowledge and experience I have gained with my
students, guiding them not only in dance but also in personal growth.
Qualifications & Training
• Certificate Program in Performing Arts (Bharatanatyam) – State Resource Centre (SRC), Kerala,
December 2024
• Undergoing intensive training in Bharatanatyam for the past 20 years in the Kalakshetra style
• Completed a 6-month Nattuvangam course under the guidance of Vid. Sreekanth Kannur
• Underwent formal training in Carnatic Music for over 10 years
Teaching Experience
• Teaching Bharatanatyam to students through online classes for the past 6 years
