About Kristian
You need a guide who understands the technical side of piano as well as the joy of playing music. Having taught 111 students, I have seen many people struggle with hand independence and posture before finding their flow.
Whether you want to master classical repertoire or handle pop and contemporary chord voicing, I am here to help. My 5 years of experience include navigating the pressures of grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards.
I also focus on sight reading and sight playing so you can pick up any chart and feel comfortable. Accompanying others requires specific skills that I am happy to break down for you. My own musical journey started years ago, and I love seeing that same spark in my students. Working with you is the highlight of my week.

Playing piano often feels like a puzzle until the pieces finally click into place. Sometimes it feels like a total mystery. With my background from Belmont University, I explain the theory behind your hand position and chord shapes. We keep the atmosphere relaxed and creative throughout our time together.
10.0 is the standard I aim for in every interaction. You gain clarity on complex movements through steady and patient instruction. We work through the music at a pace that keeps you engaged. You will find yourself playing the songs you love with total ease.
