About Shivangi

As a tutor, my goal is to inspire confidence and help students unlock their full potential. Since I started teaching in 2018, I've seen firsthand how personalised, focused guidance can make all the difference in a student's academic journey. With over 25 students from Year 1 to Year 12, I have helped students tackle everything from core subjects to scholarship and selective school exams, to intense VCE preparation.

Teaching isn't just a job for me - it's a passion. I love seeing students grow, not just in knowledge but in self-belief. My approach is centred on creating a supportive, structured learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore ideas, and build the skills they need for success. I'm here to help students, not just get through school, but to thrive and build lasting confidence.

With a graduate degree in commerce and experience working full-time in the corporate world, I understand how critical a solid foundation is for future success. I bring the same focus and dedication to my teaching, especially in math (up to year 9) and English (up to year 12). Whether it's breaking down complex problems or refining essays, I'm committed to helping every student I work with achieve their personal best.

About the lesson

In my tutoring approach, I prioritise a personalised learning experience tailored to each student's individual needs. Since 2018, I've successfully guided over 25 students from Year 1 - Year 12, offering customised lesson plans that align with their school curriculum and unique goals, whether it's mastering specific subjects or preparing for important exams like scholarships, selective entries, or VCE.

I make sure students receive dedicated support outside of our sessions by providing feedback on essays and homework throughout the week, ensuring consistent progress. During lessons, we focus on targeted exercises and worksheets that build core skills and boost confidence.

With flexible lesson lengths (typically one hour, up to 1.5 hours when needed), I offer both in-person and remote tutoring options to fit busy schedules. My experience in the corporate world, combined with my graduate degree in commerce, enriches my teaching.

I specialise in math(up to year 9) and English (up to year 12), helping students strengthen their foundation and excel in their academic journey.

My goal is to create a supportive, structured environment where students feel confident, full prepared, and engaged in their learning process.
