About Saige

Hey! I’m Saige, a native Korean speaker from Seoul, currently living in London!

I love music, exploring different cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life. With a background in music production and experience living in a multicultural sharehouse in Hongdae, I’ve developed a real appreciation for the way language brings people together.

For me, learning Korean is about more than memorising words or grammar rules. It’s about understanding how people really speak, the little nuances behind their expressions, and the culture that makes every conversation unique.

That’s why I love making Korean feel practical, lively and fun! I want you to feel comfortable expressing yourself, asking questions and discovering something new in every lesson.

Whether you love K-pop and K-dramas, are planning a trip to Korea, or simply want to chat naturally with Korean speakers, I’d love to help you on your journey. Let’s learn Korean together!

About the lesson

Ready to learn Korean in a fun, practical and natural way? Let's dive in!

My lessons are built around real-life situations and conversations, so you can experience Korean in context rather than just memorising words from a textbook.

Imagine ordering food at a Korean restaurant, chatting with a friend, shopping in Seoul or introducing yourself to someone new. We'll use these everyday scenarios to help you get involved, practise speaking and learn Korean naturally along the way!

Here's what makes my lessons special:

*Learn Through Real-Life Situations — Step into everyday Korean scenarios and practise conversations that you can actually use in real life. The aim is to help you feel the situation, understand the context and become more confident expressing yourself.

*Grammar That Actually Makes Sense — Learn grammar through the conversations we practise. I'll explain how sentences work and why certain expressions are used, so you can understand the logic behind Korean rather than simply memorising rules.

*Words, Expressions & Culture — Discover useful vocabulary, natural phrases, polite and casual speech, and the cultural nuances behind everyday conversations in Korea.

*Learn by Doing — You'll have plenty of opportunities to speak, try out new expressions and build your own sentences. Don't worry about making mistakes — they're a natural part of learning!

*Lesson Notes to Review Afterwards — After each lesson, I'll send you personalised notes summarising what we've covered, including useful vocabulary, expressions and key points, so you can revisit everything whenever you like.

*Optional Homework — Want a little extra practice between lessons? I can also give you homework to help reinforce what you've learned. It's completely optional and can be adjusted to suit your goals and schedule.

Every student has different interests, goals and learning needs, so I'll tailor our lessons to your level and pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or already know some Korean but want to start using it more confidently, we'll work together to find what suits you best.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals, your current level and what you'd like to learn. It's also a great chance to get to know each other and see if my teaching style is right for you!
