About Martin
I tutored mathematics throughout high school for 3 students. In college, I designed and taught two curriculums, one in theater, the other in literature for 15 high school students, in addition to teaching lessons in geometry and algebra to help the students pass their NY regents (they did). I also tutored an elementary school student in reading.

I give lessons to anyone without a college degree. Typically I try to engage the students with a scintillating introduction to the material, and then use a Socratic approach, so that, through questions, the students arrive at the correct answers, rather than being fed the latter.
