About Carolina

I am a people-driven professional with a Colombian background, shaped by a strong sense of community, warmth, and close personal relationships. Having built my life and career internationally, and sharing my day-to-day life with my husband Pablo, I value connection, trust, and bringing positive energy into the environments I am part of. These values naturally translate into how I work: I bring engagement, ownership, and a genuine interest in people into everything I do.

I am someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, both professionally and personally. Whether it is connecting with stakeholders, collaborating across teams, or creating a positive team dynamic, I naturally take on a role as a connector and facilitator.
Professionally, I have developed my more than 10 years of career within international trade, procurement, and global logistics. I combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and have solid experience in project management and process optimization. I built my career from execution in logistics operations, developed a strong foundation in customer, vendor and network management, and evolved into strategic procurement — bringing a uniquely operational and data-driven perspective to sourcing decisions. I understand not only the strategic side of sourcing, but also the impact of decisions on day-to-day operations, including risk management, cost control, and overall supply chain performance.

About the lesson

My teaching style is professional but approachable. I adapt each lesson depending on the student’s goals, background and learning style. I like combining theory with real-life examples, practical exercises, case studies and open conversations so lessons feel dynamic and useful instead of purely academic.

A typical lesson may include:

Understanding key concepts in supply chain, logistics or procurement
Real business examples and market situations
CV or LinkedIn improvement for corporate careers
Interview preparation and communication coaching
Practical exercises and discussion
Q&A sessions focused on the student’s personal goals

What makes me different as a tutor is that I share real multinational corporate experience while keeping a very human and supportive approach. I understand the challenges of building a career, especially as a woman navigating industries that are often male-dominated such as logistics and supply chain.

My lessons are ideal for:

University students
Young professionals
Professionals transitioning into procurement or supply chain
Students preparing for internships or multinational careers
Professionals looking to improve corporate communication and presentation skills
Anyone interested in understanding how global logistics and procurement work in real business environments

Lessons can be adapted to beginner, intermediate or advanced levels depending on the student’s needs.
