About Stephanie
I am a college student at Keiser University. I have been tutoring children (usually elementary and middle school) online and in-person for about 3 years now. Each of the students that I have tutored has excelled in the very same subjects that they were having difficulty in. I have always enjoyed school and learning and that is what initially drew me to tutoring. I want to help children strive and enjoy learning. I specialize in reading and English but I have also tutored several students in math and science.

I base my teaching method on the student. Everyone learns things in different ways so I like to conform my teaching style to the student's way of learning. When I tutor math, I found it helpful to get in touch with the parents before the session to find out what exactly the child is learning or having a hard time with and I create a little "cheat sheet" with tips and pointers on how to master it.
